Phone hwy u6. Huawei Y6 (2018) is a modern budget phone with a large display. Basic parameters for purchasing a phone

Huawei Y6 2018 at first glance seems to be a slightly enlarged copy of the model. But in fact, there are quite a lot of differences, ranging from a different SoC to better cameras. However, this is not the only thing that distinguishes the tested smartphone from its younger relative. For example, already during the initial examination, you can notice that the test subject has a second microphone, as well as a dedicated system speaker, which the more affordable one does not have. But, as our testing has shown, the differences do not end there.

Appearance

Externally, Huawei Y6 2018 is barely noticeably different from the smaller one. If you do not make a direct comparison, it is quite difficult to distinguish these two smartphones. However, there are still differences. The tested smartphone is significantly thinner, and the surface of the plastic frame is not matte, but glossy. In addition, there is a second microphone in the area of the camera block, and a dedicated system speaker at the bottom end.

The build quality is very high, but due to its large dimensions and rather small thickness, the smartphone gives in well when trying to twist it, but, remarkably, it does not make any sounds, and rainbow stains do not appear on the display.

At the front, above the display, there are proximity/light sensors, an earpiece, a front-facing camera and front-facing flash, and an LED status indicator. On the back side you can see a block consisting of a camera and a flash, as well as a dedicated noise-canceling microphone, which is also used for video recording.

On the left side surface, only a tray for separate installation of a pair of SIM cards and nanoSIM format media is visible. On the right side there are the usual lock and volume keys. It is worth noting that, unlike when tapping on the case, these keys do not rattle.

Only a standard audio jack is installed on top. At the bottom there is a system speaker, microphone and microUSB connector. In 2018, at the price that is being asked for the smartphone being tested, I would like to see USB Type-C here. Of course, the system-on-chip used does not allow the implementation of a USB 3.0 port, but even without this, symmetrical USB Type-C is simply more convenient to use.

Display

The smartphone uses a fairly large IPS matrix with a diagonal of 5.7 inches, a resolution of 720*1440 pixels (HD+) and, accordingly, an aspect ratio of 18:9. With such a large display and relatively low resolution, you can see the hotel dots, but you have to try hard to do this. But if we remember that the Y6 2018 is still a relatively inexpensive smartphone, then such shortcomings can be forgiven. The display supports up to 10 simultaneous touches, which is twice as many as in the case. However, we cannot say that this is a significant advantage, because often simultaneous recognition of 5 touches is more than enough for work.

The maximum brightness of the white field is 391.05 cd/m2, which is slightly lower than that of. At the same time, the brightness of the black field, on the contrary, is slightly higher – 0.397 cd/m2, which is why the final static contrast is lower – 985:1. However, the static contrast indicator is still good by smartphone standards.

The display settings only allow for color temperature adjustment. With the default settings, the color temperature is significantly elevated, the blue component significantly predominates in the color balance, and the Delta E color deviation on the gray wedge is quite large - up to 18.7, but on the primary colors (RGBCMY) it does not exceed 9.5, which is a good result for a relatively inexpensive smartphone. The gamma correction curve is quite far from the reference value.

Sound

Camera

The smartphone is equipped with a front camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels and an f/2.2 lens aperture. It seems that everything is the same as in . But the matrix, judging by the pictures, is completely different, and most importantly, with a large physical size, which allows you to take not too noisy pictures even under typical lighting in a living room. In low light, the smartphone is capable of taking quite good selfies with good detail, which is not what you expect from a budget solution.

Like the younger model, the test smartphone is equipped with a front LED flash. And although the flash modules of the Y6 2018 are extremely similar in appearance, their power is significantly different. The tested smartphone at a distance of 1 meter was able to provide illumination of 3.27 lux, versus a measly 1.37 lux for the younger model. But you shouldn’t be particularly happy, because the result shown is actually also extremely modest. For example, the front flash was able to produce 24.7 lux, which is currently a record figure among all smartphones we tested.

The rear flash is also more powerful than that of the younger model, and the advantage is not purely formal, but quite significant. When measured at a distance of 1 meter from the smartphone, a level of 33.7 lux was recorded. This is far from a record, but a very good indicator.

The rear camera is based on a 13 MP sensor and an f/2.2 aperture lens. The optics are of higher quality than in , so the blurring of corners is much less pronounced. The manufacturer claims 5-point phase detection autofocus, thanks to which the tested smartphone focuses quite quickly even in low light. The overall photo quality is higher than that of the younger model, but there are still a lot of shortcomings. To begin with, it is worth noting the rather narrow dynamic range. And everything would be fine, but if there are zones in the frame with a large difference in brightness, the automation is not able to set the exposure correctly - the pictures turn out to be either greatly overexposed, or, conversely, significantly underexposed. In principle, the HDR mode could save here, but it is not activated automatically, and to call this function you have to go to the modes menu, which is not very convenient. If there are no large differences in brightness in the frame, then in good lighting the smartphone is capable of taking frames of quite decent quality.

There is no manual mode in the settings, there is no ability to select the sensitivity level or adjust the white balance, although in frankly budget versions these functions are provided. But the test subject has a hidden trump card - the ability to transfer camera control using the Camera 2 API to third-party applications, where all standard settings are available. In addition, third-party software has the ability to shoot in RAW, which is extremely rare in budget smartphones.

To evaluate image quality, a test pattern was shot in Adobe Lightroom with a sensitivity of ISO 100-3200 in steps of 1 EV. Below are cropped fragments.

Illumination 3 lux + flash

Video recording

The system-on-chip used in the smartphone for video recording is limited to 1080/30p mode. The smartphone manufacturer did not further limit the already modest video capabilities of the SoC, implementing the video recording mode to the fullest extent possible. Unlike the tested smartphone, there is no pronounced problem with blurring of the edges and corners of the image, and in general the quality of video recording is significantly higher.

Autonomous operation

Huawei Y6 2018 is equipped with a 3000 mAh battery, which may seem insufficient for such a large smartphone. But, as testing has shown, the test subject is able to work for quite a long time on one charge. In reading mode, the smartphone lasted 870 minutes, in FullHD video playback mode – 671 minutes, and 278 minutes in game mode.

The included charger is not particularly powerful - only 5 W (5V/1A), although the SoC used supports QuickCharge 2.0 fast charging technology. From 0 to 85% the battery is charged in about 127 minutes, and fully charged in 160 minutes.

Conclusion

The tested smartphone is extremely similar to the recently reviewed one, both outside and inside. But at the same time, there are a lot of differences in small but important details. For example, Huawei Y6 2018 has a second microphone and a dedicated system speaker, which is of a very high class by the standards of budget smartphones. The front camera, judging by the stated characteristics, seems to be identical, but the noise level is lower and the overall photo quality is higher. The main camera is equipped with a sensor with phase detection autofocus, and the size of the rear photo matrix is clearly larger than that of the younger model. In addition, the test subject has a much more powerful rear flash. The performance of the used system-on-chip is similar, but its energy efficiency is higher. It is also worth noting that there are modifications of the Huawei Y6 2018 with an NFC module.

Minuses:
– low torsional rigidity of the body;
– no fingerprint sensor;
– microUSB connector, which in 2018 is forgivable only for frankly cheap models;
– almost useless front flash;
– low performance at the level of the more affordable Huawei Y5 2018.
Pros:
– high contrast display;
– loud system speaker with very decent sound quality;
– a very good front camera;
– relatively powerful rear flash;
– long battery life.

The Huawei Y6 (2018) smartphone was recently presented to the Chinese company without much fanfare, as happens with flagship models. The manufacturer announced the new mobile device through the corresponding page on its official website. In fact, the new product is a renamed version of the simplest version.

The Huawei Y6 (2018) body is made of metal with a glass front panel. All elements are located in their usual places. It is worth paying attention to the main camera module. No matter how it may seem, the new product has only one sensor with an LED flash. In general, the smartphone is no different from the above-mentioned Honor 7A in a minimal modification, with the exception of the processor. The device has a 4-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chip with a clock frequency of 1.4 GHz. Features such as a powerful main speaker with support for Huawei Histen, a “Party” mode for simultaneously playing music from several devices, face unlocking and basic AR effects are present.

Unlike Honor, the device has NFC, but this does not apply to all available models:

  • ATU-L11 LTE FDD with NFC
  • ATU-LX3/ATU-L21 LTE FDD without NFC
  • ATU-L22 LTE FDD/LTE TDD without NFC

Unfortunately, the cost of Huawei Y6 (2018) has not yet been announced, but presumably the price tag will not exceed 150 euros/200 dollars/12,500 rubles. Among the available countries for sale is Russia.

The Huawei Y6 Prime 2018 smartphone is a rare example of a budget gadget that combines premium features, stylish appearance and an affordable price.

Laconic and stylish

The smartphone has an impressive and practical design. The strict plastic case with a matte finish is complemented by a chrome frame, which gives the gadget both a classic and modern look. The screen, as expected in 2018, is FullView with thin frames and glossy 2.5D glass. There is nothing superfluous on the front panel, since all the navigation buttons are on the screen.

High build quality is complemented by comfort during use. The smartphone has extremely pleasant ergonomics, which is achieved by rounded edges and corners. The dimensions also facilitate convenient one-handed operation: with a height of 152.4 mm, a width of 73 mm and a thickness of 7.8 mm, the gadget weighs only 150 grams. So the hand does not get tired even after using the device for many hours.

Full palette of colors

Y6 Prime 2018 received a 5.7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1440 by 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display has high contrast, good detail and natural color reproduction.

Even in sunny weather, all information remains readable without loss of color shades, so you can see the smallest details of on-screen interfaces. In addition, already proven vision protection technology is used here. You can adjust colors and contrast depending on the time of day, adjust the color temperature, and change the screen resolution.

Time-tested iron

The smartphone runs on one of the most popular quad-core chipsets, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425, clocked at 1.4 GHz. This “pebble” model has proven itself in several generations of budget smartphones, providing high performance in multitasking mode. This SoC is distinguished by excellent energy efficiency indicators, due to which the 3000 mAh battery can last at maximum modes for a whole day.

The Adreno 308 3D accelerator runs games consistently at medium and high settings. And 2 GB of RAM is more than enough to perform everyday tasks and run heavy applications. If the built-in memory of 16 GB is not enough for you, you can additionally buy a 256 GB card, especially since there is a separate slot for it.

Particular attention is paid to sound quality in the smartphone. The audio processing system combined with a powerful speaker provides clear and loud sound up to 88 dB. At the same time, you can synchronize two gadgets via Bluetooth, creating a truly surround sound music party.

A camera that doesn't miss a beat

The 13-megapixel main photo module of the smartphone is characterized by fast focusing and excellent detail in good lighting. And at dusk, the HDR mode will come to the rescue.

Particular emphasis in the smartphone is placed on the quality of selfies. The 8 MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, in addition to standard settings, is equipped with the “Perfect Selfie” function. With its help, you can subtly adjust your facial contour, eye size, skin tone and ambient lighting. You can also decorate the finished photo with cute stickers.

Also, the capabilities of the front module are expanded due to the facial recognition function, which allows you to unlock the smartphone screen.

Huawei, as usual, is in its repertoire: it “re-released” the existing model, called it differently, and presented the device on the international market. Huawei Enjoy 5, Honor Holly 2 Plus, Honor 5X Play, Honor 4C Pro are the same smartphone. Only now it is called Huawei Y6 Pro. Announced in 2015, but still sold to this day.

The Y6 Pro is a budget model, but is interesting due to its solid battery capacity and decent amount of RAM. The minimum price that could be found in online stores is $135. Well-known and well-promoted stores sell goods a little more expensive – for 155 USD. The prices shown are approximate and valid at the time of writing this review.

The smartphone has a good filling, as for a budget device.

Design, buttons and connectors

There are no surprises in terms of design: a typical plastic rectangle with rounded corners. The thickness of 9.7 mm and weight of 160 g is due to the capacious battery. The height of the product is 143.1 mm, width – 71.8 mm.

The sloping back panel is covered with a diagonal pattern that can be felt with your fingers.

Not far from the front camera and the speaker grille there is an event indicator. Most of the elements on the body have a classic, familiar arrangement.

The power/volume buttons are on the edge on the right, the multimedia speaker and MicroUSB are on the bottom.

3.5 mm audio jack – on top.
But the navigation buttons are programmatically displayed on the display. The model is available in three colors: gold, white and grey.

CPU

Since this model focuses on autonomy, an economical 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P processor with a Mali-T720 video chip was installed, as the information on the official website and most reviewers says. But after installing the CPU-Z applicationit became clear that the smartphone has a different chipset, namely MT6582 with Mali-400 MP video chip. And this is a weaker chipset. The difference in the Antutu test is 10,000 points: MT6735P scores 35,000; MT6582 - 25,000 points. Why is this happening?

But the thing is that in addition to different names in different regions, a smartphone called Huawei Y6 Pro is also listed on the official website as a smartphone with a more powerful chipset than it actually is. There are many build numbers, the main ones are:

  • HUAWEI Y6 Pro TIT-U02 - MediaTek MT6582 + Mali-400MP2
  • TIT-AL00 (Enjoy 5 and other models) - MT6735P + Mali-T720
  • TIT-L01 (Honor 4C Pro) - MT6735P + Mali-T720

The HUAWEI Y6 Pro TIT-U02 model is sold in Ukraine; it does not have LTE and has a weaker chipset.

When purchasing, go to Settings > About phone > Build number, and make sure which device you are purchasing. Due to incorrect information on the official website, there may be confusion in Ukraine that a device is being sold with the MT6735P + Mali-T720 chipset, but in fact it is a weaker chip.

Because of this, many bloggers wrote incorrect information about the smartphone, which is sold in Ukraine. Hello, can you hear me?)

Some people complain that resource-intensive games lag and freeze. You just don’t always need to rely on standard optimization for specific hardware. Modern games provide the ability to independently set the appropriate settings. As a rule, with such hardware you need to focus on medium and low parameters.

Memory

The smartphone has 2 GB of RAM. An excellent indicator for a budget model. This is enough for an unpretentious user to run several applications simultaneously.

Built-in memory – 16 GB. Let's subtract what the system takes and we get 10.55 GB of free space. You can load applications and some games there, and there will still be some space left. And if not, don’t worry, a removable drive comes to the rescue. In the settings, you can select it as the main location for installing applications. The maximum size of a supported flash drive is 128 GB, and a separate slot is provided for it.

Autonomous operation

As mentioned earlier, the main feature of this device can be considered its high battery capacity: 4000 mAh. Excellent battery life in mixed use cases. If you take your smartphone seriously, turn on wireless data transfer, and torment it with the Internet, calls, watching videos, filming with a camera, it will easily withstand a day under extreme loads.

With more moderate use, the battery usually lasts for two days. If you turn off wireless networks and run FullHD video at full brightness, it will play continuously for up to 10 hours. And it will take 2 hours to fully recharge.

Like other devices from this manufacturer, there is an advanced power consumption setting mode. It allows you to keep control over charge consumption. To the point of limiting functionality for the sake of additional hours of battery life. You can also charge other mobile devices by connecting to the MicroUSB connector.

Camera

The main camera allows you to take pictures with a resolution of 13 MP. The aperture value is f/2.0. There is autofocus, which works quickly during the day, and a medium-brightness LED flash. The camera app is quite functional and yet easy to learn. You can change exposure values and adjust focus on the fly. It is possible to adjust white balance, contrast, ISO, saturation, sharpness.

In ideal lighting conditions, the automation correctly selects the white balance. The resulting images have good contrast and good color rendition. The overall level of detail is normal, and at close ranges it is even good.

If you look closely at daytime photos, you can see grain and noise. However, we will make a discount on the budget of the device.

When creating panoramas, the frames are well glued together, the “seams” are invisible. The smartphone copes best with product photography; you can achieve a beautiful bokeh effect (see box above). Indoors with artificial lighting, detail is reduced, but the camera holds up well.

In room

Another indoor shot:

Even at night you can get more or less acceptable quality footage.

Unexpectedly: the stock camera allows you to record videos in maximum HD (1280 x 720) resolution. The quality is also dull: there is not enough color saturation and picture clarity. The 5 MP front module is wide-angle (84 degrees), so not only the face of the smartphone owner fits into the frame. The quality of the resulting photographs is quite acceptable.

Selfie camera photo

Video recording is possible in HD resolution.

Display

Diagonal 5 inches, resolution 1280 x 720, IPS matrix. Pixel density 293 dpi. For budget employees - a classic of the genre. The image quality is expectedly good, both in contrast and color rendition. By tilting the device in different directions, the user will not notice strong fading of the image or inversion of colors on the screen. The minimum brightness level is quite comfortable for using the device in complete darkness.

When exposed to direct sunlight, unfortunately, the brightness reserve is not enough, and the contents of the screen fade. For those who lack the saturation of the image, or, on the contrary, prefer calmer tones, the ability to adjust the color temperature will be useful. The touchscreen can recognize up to 5 simultaneous presses.

There is also an unpleasant moment (not everyone has it): sometimes the touchscreen has some problems with pressure sensitivity. Therefore, you have to either “poke” it several times, or press harder than usual. Usually, to correct the situation, you need to find the “Accessibility” section in the settings menu. There will be a “Sensitive Mode” item, and you need to activate it. However, no such problems were noticed in our smartphone.

Networking capabilities

Under the back cover there are slots for 2 micro-SIM cards. The smartphone is designed to work in 2G/3G networks. WiFi single band – 2.4 GHz. Bluetooth version – 4.0. All communications work flawlessly.

Responsible for navigation and geopositioning: GPS, GLONASS, A-GPS. Processors from MediaTek have not earned the best reputation due to known problems with navigation. However, Huawei Y6 Pro surprises with excellent GPS and GLONASS performance. It “clings” to satellites very quickly, cold start in just 15 seconds. With a hot start, all navigation systems are ready for operation in less than 10 seconds.

Sound

The main speaker is average in volume, normal in sound quality. Compare with many other budget models. The earpiece is normal, it doesn’t “scream”, but it’s not quiet either. The volume reserve when listening to music on headphones is not the most impressive. If the environment is noisy, you have to raise the volume level to the maximum value. Enthusiasts found a solution to this problem by making changes to the engineering menu.

Software part

Android 5.1 is used as the operating system. The shell is EMUI 3.1 Lite, which is radically different in appearance from the stock Android interface. The lightweight version of the shell is simple without additional features. Only the most important and useful branded applications remain. The full version of EMUI is usually installed on more expensive and more powerful smartphones.

There is information from the manufacturer's support service that work is underway to update the firmware to Android 6. Naturally, no one gives specific dates.

Additional features

  • The smartphone can be turned into a Power Bank by selecting the appropriate option in the settings section.
  • In emergency situations, you can discreetly activate video recording even if the screen is locked. To do this, it is enough to make a predetermined number of presses on the volume button.

Advantages and disadvantages

Pros:

  • good autonomy;
  • excellent performance of navigation modules;
  • good photo opportunities;
  • separate slots for SIM and MicroSD.

Minuses:

  • low resolution and quality of recorded video;
  • problems with touch sensitivity;
  • non-removable battery in a plastic case.

Who is a smartphone suitable for?

For those who are looking for an inexpensive dual-SIM 3G/4G device with a decent battery, a decent camera, and fast and stable navigation.

Our review of the Huawei Y6 Pro smartphone

On the one hand, in its price category the smartphone is not bad in most respects, and has quite significant advantages. On the other hand, the nuances described in the review with video resolution and a glitchy sensor are perceived as nonsense. Such ridiculous and obvious mistakes should not be made, despite the fact that this is a budget model. However, there are owners of Huawei Y6 Pro who do not care about the quality of video recording, and they solved the problem with the screen by increasing its sensitivity to touch.

Modern mobile gadgets always delight you with a stylish design, high-quality and large screen, good performance and support for other technological devices. Nevertheless, there is one very significant point that manufacturers either forget about or deliberately assign almost the last role to it - this is battery life.

Engineers and designers of companies are trying to make new smartphone models thinner, more powerful, with huge screens with Full HD resolution, with support for a huge range of applications, in general, more beautiful and more expensive. All this is in order to cause delight in the future owner and sometimes even awe in front of his creation. And in pursuit of such “beauty”, the manufacturer very often neglects energy saving, that is, autonomy, and this is a fact.

Is it impossible to carry advanced technologies along with enviable characteristics and have excellent autonomy? No matter how it is!

This statement is refuted by the hero of today's review - a stylish and very capable gadget from the middle price range, distinguished by a capacious battery and good technical performance. This is Huawei Y6 Pro. Characteristics, hardware and communication capabilities, as well as the opinions of experts, coupled with reviews from ordinary smartphone owners, will be discussed later in the review. On the shelves of many stores, the model is presented as Enjoy 5, Honor 5X Play, Honor 4C Pro and Holly 2+. But under the cover there is always the inscription Huawei Y6 Pro (price - 11 thousand rubles).

Appearance

The gadget has a monoblock and attractive design. The model is softly rounded at the corners and looks like a classic rectangular smartphone. The five-inch screen is bordered by a black insert and recessed into it, due to this visually it looks a little larger than its dimensions. If you look at the top and bottom frames more closely, you can see the original and quite nice texture.

Front

The front camera eye is located in a place traditional for this kind of gadgets - above the screen. Approaches also keep him company. Directly below the screen itself and just above the brand logo, on-screen icons are conveniently located: “square”, “triangle” and “circle”. The icons have the usual functionality: Recent Apps, Back, and Home.

If you are left-handed or you are simply not satisfied with the location of the icons, then you can easily change them in the Huawei Y6 Pro menu. Reviews from owners are full of words of gratitude for this, albeit small, but for some, critical feature of the gadget.

Rear

A very remarkable metal frame runs along the perimeter of the device, perfectly contrasting with the plastic body, which, by the way, has an original and pleasant-to-touch texture. On the back side of the gadget, in the upper part, there is a camera with a flash. Just above the peephole you can see the microphone, and below you can see the nice manufacturer’s logo.

You won’t find speakers in the usual place for such dimensions. The engineers considered it more appropriate to place them on the bottom end, to the micro-USB connector. At first glance, it may seem that the speakers have a stereo layout (holes on both sides of the output), but in fact there is only one speaker, and the sound flows only through one grille in the Huawei Y6 Pro. Reviews from gadget owners were slightly divided in this case: some were quite satisfied with such a false grille and mono sound, while others felt that they were being deceived.

Under the removable cover you can see a pair of modern micro-SIM card slots and one place for a micro-SD drive. The battery takes up almost all the space, but nevertheless does not interfere with working with cards. Below it you will see identification numbers, as well as series number, build number and other technical information about Huawei Y6 Pro. Reviews about the “friendliness” of the lid are mostly positive: with proper skill, it can be easily lifted with a fingernail and just as easily put in place.

Ergonomics and range

With its impressive weight of 160 grams, the device has appropriate dimensions: 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7 mm, which fits well within the bounds of decency for five-inch gadgets. At the moment, official dealers have two color versions: Huawei Y6 Pro Gold (golden) and Gray (gray).

Both ranges look great in the hands of both strong men and weak women, regardless of status and age, be it a student or a respectable gentleman over 60. Huawei Y6 Pro Gold and Gray do not differ in price, so what to choose is a matter of everyone’s taste.

Screen

The five-inch model has a base resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, which even today, in the search for “bigger, higher and more powerful,” is considered a decent characteristic in this class of devices. The dot density per inch is also a good indicator - 294 ppi. And all this works on a quite sensible IPS matrix, with proper saturation and contrast.

The brightness adjustment range has a good spread across the entire Huawei Y6 Pro series. View of corners is also at the proper level. You can easily watch photos or videos in the company of one or two friends. Moreover, the viewing angles are equally good both horizontally and vertically for all Huawei Y6 Pro models. Owner reviews point out the only, and for some, critical, drawback of the screen - the absence of a microfiber cloth. So, a microfiber cloth will become your constant travel companion if you have no desire to fork out for an expensive coating procedure.

A more or less inexpensive solution to dust, scratches and other dirt for the Huawei Y6 Pro is a case, so the first thing that smartphone owners recommend is to purchase any case you like after purchasing the gadget; fortunately, there are more than enough designs, shapes and varieties of materials in stores.

Hardware platform

The performance of the smartphone is ensured by the Mediatek MT6735P series platform running on four cores with a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz (ARM “Cortex-A53”). The built-in chip from Mali T720 MP2 series at 600 MHz is responsible for video streams. In general, the Huawei Y6 Pro models have more than enough power for most daily tasks.

The review showed that the gadget is equipped with two gigabytes of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Moreover, the user remains approximately 10 GB of them. The device supports all modern micro-SD drives up to 128 GB, and therefore owners of Huawei Y6 Pro should not have problems with free space. The case from the brand (branded) is equipped with special pockets, so you can store all your memory cards and SIM cards in one place.

Communications

The model provides for work with two micro-SIM cards. They work alternately, that is, when one SIM card is active, the other switches to offline mode. The gadget feels great in the basic networks of all well-known mobile operators and supports 2G, 3G and 4G technologies.

There is also support for popular wireless protocols: Wi-Fi at 802.11 b/g/n points and Bluetooth version 4. Some owners in their reviews complain that the Huawei Y6 Pro mobile phone is not equipped with NFC technology, but for such a price, the available characteristics are more than attractive.

In addition to the standard set, it supports domestic GLONASS and imported GPS/A-GPS. The gadget can easily be used as a navigator in conjunction with standard Google Maps cartography.

Autonomous operation

Two things are particularly attractive about the Huawei Y6 Pro - price and battery life. The available 4000 mAh battery allows the phone to “live” in normal mode for about two days. Even if you load it, as they say, to its fullest, the charge will still last for almost a day.

More specifically, at full screen brightness, playing video in Full HD drains the battery for almost eleven hours, and this is an excellent indicator for models in this segment.

You can significantly extend battery life if you enable special energy-saving modes and disable particularly “gluttonous” third-party applications. Moreover, the gadget takes upon itself the optimization of the operation of the software and the entire device as a whole, intelligently reminding and connecting the mode needed at the moment (customizable function).

It is worth mentioning one more feature of the model. The Y6 Pro can act as an external battery to power other gadgets, and this, as a rule, is the prerogative of expensive devices in the “price exceeded 30 thousand rubles” category. Users in their reviews appreciated this feature, giving it the highest rating in the autonomy section.
